BASE POWERS These three abilities are automatically apart of your Changlings when you create them, along with the one ability you chose.
02. EXTREME SPEED This enables your Changling to run faster than the average Natural or any Cranks. Their speed is unmatched, but certainly not to the point that they're a blur.
03. EXTREME STRENGTH Your character will be able to lift heavier objects, deal more damage in a fight, pull heavy things with ease and even be able to throw things they shouldn't be able to. Breaking bones is a simple feat, and breaking flesh is no harder than tearing bread. [/ul]
AVAILABLE ABILITIES When you create your Changling, you are allowed to pick one ability from this list, or alternatively, you may come up with your own. Be sure to clear it with the staff first.
02. SCENT For this Changling, nothing with a scent can get by them. They can track any living thing for up for up to eighty miles. Due to the increase in olfactory output, the character is now able to see the dim outline of various scents and pick which ones they wish to follow. They can scent emotions such as fear or anger or happiness, and can pick up scents that have been stale for weeks, though rain and through weather.
03. TOUCH This is a powerful ability for any Changling. They are able to feel vibrations within the very ground. If someone takes a step anywhere near them, they'll know it. The vibrations are picked up through the soles of their feet. With this ability, the Changling is able to determine if someone is injured, how many people there are, how far away they are, and even how fast their heart is beating.
04. SHAPE-SHIFTING This ability is very useful to your character. Usually they have one animal they have discovered they can change into, but it is not animals as Naturals know them. Animals in the Scorch have mutated and often resemble that of a normal animal but are noticeably different.
05. HEALING Now your character is able to heal their own wounds with skill in controlling both physical and mental energy. By simply focusing on the wound, they can direct copious amounts of energy towards it and heal it much faster. The larger and more fatal the wound, the more energy it takes. In cases where your character is well trained in this ability, they can heal another character or animal's wounds, but that requires much more energy.
06. WATERBREATHING Your Changling can now breathe underwater, able to extract oxygen from the water around them. It is very helpful when hunting or trying to make an escape. They do not grow gills, instead they take in the water through their pores and take the oxygen into their blood and lungs.
07. POISON The Changling now produces it's own toxic venom. When they bite someone or scratch them, it will inject them with a vicious poison that is always lethal. Poison can also be spit at someone, but this usually will only blind or sting them. It must be injected into the victims blood stream to be fatal.
08. EMPATHY With this ability, your Changling has the power to detect and influence emotions, but they can only influence them through direct skin contact. They cannot control the emotions, per se, but can confuse the enemy by bombarding them with many conflicting emotions, and ultimately convey a feeling of complete confusion and helplessness. This makes if very easy for a Changling to make someone comply to their every whim, though this ability is completely useless against someone with telepathy.
09. WALLCRAWLING This will allow your Changling to crawl on walls, as the name states. Similar to a lizard or an insect, they have small, sticky hairs on their hands and feet that allow them to stick to any surface and move quickly. It does, however, take time to build up the strength to stay stuck to a surface for a long period of time. This comes in handy for when a quick escape is needed.

ABILITIES TO PURCHASE These are the abilities that can only be purchased through the Caps Shop. They must be purchased before your character is created if it's to be their only ability. If it is to be a Changling that is already created, then an extra ability must be bought in addition to the purchased ability.
02. ELECTRICITY Electricity, once an uncomfortable shock, is now a comfortable warmth to your character. With this mutation, they are able to not only control electricity, but produce it themselves. This electricity can be a powerful surge to knock someone off their feet or fry them where they stand. When trying to control lightning, things can get out of control, but the character can produce lightning. It is next to impossible to aim, but it can certainly create a chaotic electrical storm.
03. FIRE This ability allows the character to not only control fire, but produce it as well. This is very similar to electricity with a very important difference. Once the fire is not in contact with the Changling's skin, the control is lost. They can control miles and miles of fire, so long as they are still touching it. Once they lose contact with it, the fire is out of their control.
04. WATER Once again, this ability is very similar to both fire and electricity. This ability does not allow your character to breathe under water, though they can create an air bubble around themselves. They can send water jetting towards someone with bone breaking force or they could drown someone. Unlike fire, they do not have to be touching the water.
O5. AIR Your character will be able to manipulate air to their liking with this ability. They can cut off the air from someone's lungs or blow someone right off their feet, and could even hover in the air if they're skilled enough. This ability is particularly dangerous.
O6. EARTH With this ability, the Changling can control the earth around them, including that of plant life. They are attuned to plants and soil, but this does not allow the user to feel vibrations in the earth. This is a powerful tool, allowing the character to control and throw a rock that weighs a ton without touching it. They can compel a vine to strangle someone or grow any plant they wish. This is an extremely useful tool for survival, being able to grow food and create shelter from the earth.
07. INVISIBILITY This character can often develop a liking for pranks and sneaking around. This renders the Changling entirely invisible, unable to be detected by sight while also masking their scent. It does not, however, cover up their footprints or clothing. It can only render the user's skin invisible.
08. TELEKENISIS This is a powerful ability to Changlings, and is very rare to come by. It allows them to simply move objects with their minds, without touching it. That being said, they can only move inorganic matter meaning they can't move living things. Despite this, this ability is dangerous, especially when the Changling is well trained. When trained enough in this, they can develop the mental strength to move entire buildings. But be careful! If they're not mentally strong enough, they could kill themselves trying to do this.
